Winter
Galoshes were typical summer shoes for stolbists up to the 90s — it is convenient to climb rocks in them because of the good adhesion of rubber to rock. For winter climbing on rocks in the 50s, stolbists began to use triconi and crampons. In general, at all times, the clothes and shoes of the stolbists were distinguished by convenience — they should not hinder movements during climbing.
