Ludmila Zvereva died ZVEREVA LUDMILA VLADIMIROVNA
The legend of the Stolby, Ludmila Vladimirovna Zvereva became famous even before I was born. She was the sportswoman, the climber, and just a beauty. It is no coincidence that she was the first woman to conquer the difficult pass on Skala Perja (Feathers Pillar). Previously, it had been thought that only hard men could climb here. When girls came to the cliff, they touched cautiously the vertical walls and had to understand with crushing hearts that only a man could cope with such difficulties. And Ludmila Zvereva broke this stereotype. Since that time they called the climb Zverevsky after her.

The indignant Denisyuk decided to express opposition to the situation in the form of an inscription. Together with Karatanov they decided it would be the word "Freedom".
